Orthotics
Prescription Shoe Inserts
(Ready-made shoe inserts
ARE NOT true Orthotics.)
Dr. Chairman's Orthotics
are specially made from
the impressions of your feet
to be the most ideal
for the condition of your feet.

FACTS:
Each foot is made up of
26 bones and 33 joints.
The alignment of these joints
and position of these bones
is under constant stress.
As time moves on, variations in
your weight, type of shoes,
the surfaces you walk on
(cement, wood, tile, etc.),
and various physiological changes,
like pregnancy, all cause alignment
of your bones and joints to
be altered. Given enough time,
your feet get progressively worse.
Orthotics should be prescribed with
your special needs in mind.
They should allow for various bony
and soft tissue abnormalities.
Store-bought shoe inserts can
be helpful for some, but cannot give
you the total benefit of a well prescribed
custom Orthotic by Dr. Chairman.

NATURE TRIES TO HEAL:
In its constant desire to
correct things, nature tries
to compensate in various ways.
It may alter the way you walk or
may cause pain and fatigue
in other areas to compensate for
the problems of your feet.
However, nature does not
understand, that we walk in shoes
and on hard surfaces.
Nature also doesn't understand
that many of us wear
fashionable (less than perfect) shoes.
Nature thinks we are walking and
running on soft sand or soil.

CONCLUSION:
One thing is for certain.
Without help, your foot alignment
and structural deformities get
progressively worse.
This is slow at first and then
suddenly speeds up.
Orthotics are supportive balanced
devices, which compensate for your
current alignment problems.
In adults, they rarely correct
structural problems that have
developed. However, they may
slow or stop the progression of your
deformity. Orthotics also can reduce the
fatigue and stress on various bones,
which will then make your feet
feel more comfortable through the day.
